Personal Trainer

For most of my life, my interests and hobbies have always revolved around sport.

At the age of six, I began swimming competitively; and throughout school took part in athletics, badminton, cross-country, curling and rugby. When I was 17 I was accepted into the Royal Caledonian Curling Club’s Regional Squad, and spent most weekends playing in competitions all over the country. I’ve also completed 3 ‘Tough Mudder’ events and am in training for a fourth.

Since then, my main focus has been turning my passion for health and fitness into a satisfying, productive career. I did this by working as a barman for two years while putting myself through Gym Instructor, Personal Trainer, Spin and Strength & conditioning courses.

I want to be the best possible Personal Trainer – and self-study is a huge part of that, I’m always looking to increase my knowledge in both training methods and nutrition. I also practise what I preach by training almost every day and follow a healthy balanced diet.
